I have been telling stories my entire life. It started as a child (though some might have called them “lies”). Those “dramatic embellishments” led me into the world of acting where I have continued to tell the stories of brilliant playwrights, screenwriters and authors for nearly three decades.
Classically trained in theatre, film, television and voice over, I have developed a reputation for nuanced characterizations and trustworthy honesty. My resume includes nearly 100 audiobook titles across all genres, including romance under my pseudonym, Grayson Owens.
I am obsessed with the paranormal and true crime (I am an amateur Ripperologist) and have an intense curiosity that has me always learning new things from business to human behavior. When I am not in the booth I am either cultivating my bonsai collection, hanging on the beach with a book or creating my own stories with my wife and two kids who keep me working to feed our Disney addiction.
Eric produces professional quality voice overs from his home studio in the Midwest. His Studiobricks One Plus VO Edition booth is equipped with a Neumann TLM 103 microphone recording through a Scarlett 2i2 interface on Reaper.
I have been fortunate to have been trained at two of the top programs in the country, receiving my BFA from the University of Evansville and my MFA from New York University’s Graduate Acting Program. Through both of these programs, I have and the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top educators and directors, including Ken Washington, James Houghton, Michael Sexton, and David Esbjornson.
I have worked in theatre in New York and some of the top regional theaters across the country, including Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, George Street Playhouse, and the Hangar Theatre. I have also worked in film and television and have a home studio where I film professional-quality self-taped auditions and produce audiobook narration.
I am a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA.
