Eric is a professional actor, narrator and educator based in Evansville, Indiana. Acclaimed for his nuanced and versatile characterizations as well as his attention to detail, Eric has over 25 years of experience in theatre, film, television and voice over.
Eric received his BFA from the University of Evansville and his MFA from NYU’s Graduate Acting Program. He worked out of New York City for seven years before moving back to his hometown to teach and raise two kids alongside his high school sweetheart (yeah, this is that kind of story).
He has built a quality home studio from which he continues to audition for theatre film and television projects across the country. He has also become a prolific audiobook narrator across multiple genres as himself as well as his alter ego, Grayson Owens.
Eric produces professional quality voice overs from his home studio. His Studiobricks One Plus VO Edition booth is equipped with a Stellar X2 microphone recording through a Scarlett 2i2 interface on Reaper.
I have been fortunate to have been trained at two of the top programs in the country, receiving my BFA from the University of Evansville and my MFA from New York University’s Graduate Acting Program. Through both of these programs, I have and the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top educators and directors, including Ken Washington, James Houghton, Michael Sexton, and David Esbjornson.
I have worked in theatre in New York and some of the top regional theaters across the country, including Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, George Street Playhouse, and the Hangar Theatre. I have also worked in film and television and have a home studio where I film professional-quality self-taped auditions and produce audiobook narration.
I am a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA.
